The Minor Development Championship will embark on its thirteenth year of operation from April 9 - 11, 2010 and is one of the greatest events within ALLIANCE HOCKEY. The level of play and competition is exceptional! The event has always proven to be an excellent goal for teams and players to strive for during the season.
Formerly known as the "ALLIANCE Member League Championships", the ALLIANCE HOCKEY Minor Development Championships has grown to a 72 team format from Novice through to Midget Tier 1 and Tier 2 with the top two teams from the East/Central League and the top two teams from the Western League competing in a 4-team round robin to determine ALLIANCE Hockey supremacy at their given divisions.The West Division consists of teams from Sarnia, Stratford, Woodstock, London Bandits, London West, London North and Oakridge. Teh East/Central Division consists of teams from St. Catharines, Hamilton, Burlington, Brantford, Waterloo, Kitchener and Cambridge.
The Championships will conclude with 18 different Champions being crowned on Sunday, April 11th, 2010. Host: Stratford Minor Hockey Association
